GTR-Style Tailights

Hey guys

Does anyone know how you do the GTR style tailights?

I've been looking into this lately and I want to get it done but I need to understand if the tailights need to be opened or if it's done in another way?

I'm talking about the glossy look as in the attached picture

Call 180 (the people who did those pictures)

They'd be able to tell you and how much it would cost.

180 "smokes" them (sprayed).... There's also another option (cheaper), to tint them (see bluebatmobile overlay thread)

Yep, I plan on going with the overlays from Bluebat, that way I can always remove them if need be.

Thanks for the replies

Going to 180 is not an option for me unfortunately as I live in the UAE.

My question was more about how it's done. Do the tailights need to be opened and sprayed from the inside to get that effect? Or is it done another way?

I have my taillight from 180 they sprayed the outside they can also spray the inside if you want for a little more. Overlays in my opinion will never have the flow as paint. I have seen some overlays with the GTR style and you can see and feel the cut out , pain looks factory and with the GTR style you have enough red so it's unlikely you will get a ticket
