Swap 08' headlights for 12' headlights G Coupe.

Has anyone swapped the headlights? Can anyone confirm they will work with no issues in an 08?

Thanks,

Z

I plugged my lights 08 to a 2011 before and it's the exact same harness. Shouldn't be an issue.

My question is about the fogs, will I just not have them or will they light up the parking light?

You won't have that's all. They will be eliminated since the 2011-2012 now use the lower integrated fogs where as the 08-10 had them inside the Headlights.

Ok... so to confirm the brackets for the headlights to be installed/mounted has not changed from 2008-2012?

This would be something I would ilke bumper swap folks to answer, were the connects the same when you swapped bumpers or did you need to install new brackets for the 2011 aero bumper?

they will still work when you plug them in. I've done them before, but no fogs

nothing with the brackets changed. The only change was the fogs, but the plug will still work!

Perfect, lets just say I paid someone to do my headlights that had no business doing headlights. They were ruined.

The only good news on the deal was the dealer working with me on price. The MSRP they had for two headlights was $2400+ He got me out at less than $1800.

Should be installed next week.

I would love to upgrade to the '12 headlights. I love the smoke/tint look but damn that is expensive. good choice to just upgrade and not paint it again.

Damn $1,800 is still steep. I see sets going for under $1K. Not 2012's though.

Those are used, new sets even from Infiniti Parts USA was $2400. The only reason I bought new was it puts be back into full warranty and gives me piece of mind. If you had seen how many times I had to have my headlights opened up bc the guy doing them had issues sealing them it was insane.

I will probably keep the pulled headlights, send them out to 180 or something then sell them in the classifieds.
