They are not bad. I used them in my reverse lights before and they are a little brighter/whiter than stock. don't expect them to be like LED white though. But they will definitely be more effective than LED.
I currently have the Diode Dynamics H11 led bulbs in my fog lights, they were fairly good but I'm planning on going with HID's though, let me know if your interested in them
