I assume CHLUTZ214 has a coupe. For the sedan, you do not need to remove the whole light to get to the reverse light. Just open your trunk. Take off the plastic handle inside the trunk where you grab onto to close it. you can pry it off with a flat head screwdriver. Take off about 3 clips on each side using the flat head screwdriver. peel back the carpet trunk liner and you will see the housing for the reverse light. twist the harness and remove. pull the bulb out and replace with LED. put everything back in reverse order. done. I can do each side in about 3 minutes.

Got My Diode Dynamic Bulbs today! Ordered Sunday and came to Texas Wednesday! 3 days! Fast!

Can't wait to install them. Looks like several are boards with double stick 3M Tape (with 6 lights on each board), then there ar some individual bulbs and I also ordered the back up Pair.

I am not sure which one is which, but I am sure it says somewhere on the bulbs. haven't took them out of the package yet.

Thanks

Gary

Looking forward to pics as I am planning on doing the swap soon. Really want to do LED turn signals front and rear but worried about the right was of them in the daytime. Most of the bulbs I have ordered from diode have been great with the exception of one running light in my headlight. One LED flickers or just stays off. Just havent wanted to send it back, wait for a replacement and do the install again as you have to remove the front wheel.

Send us an email... you usually don't need to return to get warranty service.

can't wait for mine to come in. Probably a n00b question, but I haven't really looked too hard. The dome/map lights seem like they would be difficult to get out without messing up the plastic with a screwdriver to pry it out.

Does anyone have a DIY that the search function couldn't find for me??

Sort of what I figured, just wanted to be cautious. It's like I brought home a new baby! Can't imagine what will happen if I put the first scratch on it

I installed my stage 3 witin 20 minutes lol better than stock bulbs and alot brighter. Only issue I had was I broke a tiny clip on the vanity mirror to get the cover off to access the bulb. Other than that adds a great look. My question is what HID color would match the led stage 3 ?????? If I were to guess I say 8k

Upgraded with the DD kit. Everything looks great, but as others have said, the double sided tape they use for the map lights is suspect, and mine gave way after a few days. I prepped well, cleaning the mating plastic with a Q-tip and alcohol...and they still failed.

I went to Autozone and picked up a roll of 3M Super Strong Automotive Attachment Tape. This stuff is used to reattach trunk logos, emblems, etc., and I found it to be super strong. Don't touch the exposed tape to the plastic until you're ready to position it...it's not forgiving!

So far, so good. We'll see if this turns out to be a permanent solution.
