What LED Light Kit for my G37?
What LED Light Kit for my G37?
I see V-Leds, but they don't tell exactly which ones to get. I know there are write ups, but everyones uses different stuff.
I also saw Diode Dynamics and they have a Kit in 3 Stages (1, 2 , 3) 3 is Brightest, 1 is the least bright. It's for all interior lights, trunk, and Licence Plate.
Then I guess many order back up lights, and some get turn signals.
Those who have done it, give me the quick low down. 6,000, 5,000 LED's? What looks good and where to order?
Thanks

Cool Sniper, your a wealth of knowledge on this forum. You using V-Leds? Which Place should I purchase these babies??????????
I have a 2009! I know a FEW LED bulbs are different for Newer Year Model G37's: 2010 UP, or I know some are different if you have the 2011-2012, but not sure which year G37 some of the sizes changed?
So for my 2009, The ones you said will fit, right!?
Also, what light for the TRUNK?

Sniper, I'm painting my headlights black and will be painting the inside of the turn & fog lights black also. I know this will affect the reflection so I assume the actual light output will decrease. What turn signal bulbs & fog bulbs would you recommend? I rarely use the fogs so I'm not worried much about them but definitely want the turn lights to be close to oem output. Thanks for any help w/ this, it's an 09 if that matters.
^I know I'm not sniper, but...
Ive always had great luck with Hoen bulbs for fogs. They are reasonably priced and perform and look excellent. Of course if you want to spend more, I'd go for Piaa
For the turns i would guess some leds, but they will likely require a resistor (im sure you knew that)Just my $.02.

not sure about turn signals. there's nothing that's actually really "brighter" than stock bulbs. Even high power LEDs sometimes don't project the lights right, and won't seem brighter. for fogs, you can just go HID. I would suggest 3000k though. the yellow contrast will look good against your headlights. i'm not a big fan of PIAAs. My experience in the past is they are not much brighter, and they burn out really quick. Not to mention they are super pricey.

Just bought the stage 2 kit in White. Can't wait to put these suckers in!
Haven't really looked, but the map lights look a little difficult to get the covers off. I just got the car last night though so I haven't had time to check it out.
This can't be hard to do....?
