Many of you may not know this, but the 2011-2012 has slight differences with some parts with the 08-10. Because of this I have been hesitant on purchasing LED’s for my G. I would like to first upgrade the headlight blinking lights, fog lights and the day-time running lights. I don’t want to upgrade the headlights bulbs just yet.
Has anyone with the same year G done this yet?
Does anyone with legitimate experience on this subject know of any differences between the years…08-10 vs. 11-12?
What brand gives you the bang for your buck?

i think you use a 194 bulb that is what i swapped it out in my ipl

 

Can someone tell me the part number and brand to go with for swapping out the daytime running lights so they match the headlights and also the Fog lights? I have a 2011 G37xS Coupe.

 

Well I doubt you will match all three .... the headlights are 4300 kelvin, the fogs I would guess are something less than that. If you go with LED, I have had wonderful success with V-LED. I go with their bulbs rated for 5k as those tend to be the whitest over the 6k which have a hint of blue. Swap your running and fogs out with 5K LED's and they will be just a bit more white than your headlights.
