So I just got my whip this week and already getting my windows tinted next week. I am shaving off the "Infiniti" letters and also the "G37S". I'm only leaving my Infiniti emblem on and the IPL.

So my question to you guys is what color you thinking I should make them?
I was thinking a carbon fiber vinyl, or a flat black? and if I should cover the whole IPL emblem in vinly or leave the purple and red not wrapped to make it a little unique?

Would appreciate your guys comments and Input. If your thinking other colors, let me know to! I'm open to ideas! thanks

Going with Vinyl. And I'm only leaving the IPL badge on the back and the infiniti emblem on the back. Taking off the Infiniti letters and the G37S.

 

Was also thinking to go with darker grey to match my rims...????

Yea i plan on keeping the rims for awhile. next summer gonna get some vossens but will be similar color anyways!

 

Have you considered just keeping the IPL only and debadging everything else?

Did a quick mockup, I think it looks pretty cool with your color, definitely draws more attention to the tails.


Even better with the bluebat GT-R overlays + only blacking out the silver on the IPL

wow jesse550 thanks for taking time to help me out. This is exactly why I love this forum such nice group of people who love these cars and will help anyone out . And thats what a couple of my friends suggested to do. Looks real clean and sharp with just the IPL. But I think i might still leave the Infiniti logo on there so it dont look so naked and what are you talking about with the bluebat GT-R overlays?

 

You're welcome, here's what the bluebat overlays look like, basically it's not fully blacked tailight overlays, there's 3 cutouts including two circles and the reverse (you can get them without reverse cutout too).

There's also a version of the GT-R Tails that have a lighter shade of black if that's too dark for your taste, I plan on ordering those GT-R tails soon for my own G

 

i ordered those GTR overlays for my 2012 IPL also...JESSE550. can you work your magic and show me what the GTR overlays will look on BAD G IPLs car. since we have the same car it will give me a image of what it will look like. please and thank you
