My driver's side window is possessed...Help

Forgive me if this has already been addressed, I did search but couldn't find it.

Now, whenever I roll up my driver's side window I hit the button and it rolls all the way up and then just goes back down about 3 inches. This is really annoying. I don't know if it's a setting or a short or what, but it's gotta stop. It was raining today and I couldn't get my window to stay up. Quite the frustrating end to a bad week.

If anyone knows how to fix this please share....Thanks!

Very weired why not take it to any mechanic to check flow power to fuse and switch
Dealer would definetly answer ur question and find problem but would charge you standard fee.

Mine did this, it's a safety feature where if it doesn't go all the way up, it comes back down as if it hit your finger or what not and instead of getting your finger stuck, it comes back down. Most of the time there's something up with the window/door seal. I had mine replaced and it was fixed. When I had the problem, I saw the seal was all deformed and rolled under so the window would not go up all the way.

My drivers side window does this on my 08 coupe. I thought I was the only one! Nice to know I'm not alone out in the world. Mine happens randomly too.

3 inches is a lot. There was a thread on here before with people with this problem. and this is the solution that worked for a lot of them. there is a way to reset the windows. Its something like driver side window button down for 30 seconds and then holding it up for 30 seconds and it resets the window. try it. I am not sure if it is exactly like that but i am pretty sure. you can look in the manual that comes with the car to find out how to reset it.

I had the same issues with both windows on my 08. The dealer did reset the windows and I still had the same problem a couple days after.I did notice it only happen from the drivers side controls not the passenger controls. I demanded a new drives side window control and the problem was fixed no charged to me I had warranty

All you have to do is roll the windows down and roll it up back but make sure you hold the switch up for about 30 seconds. Test out and see if your window goes back up when you close the door.

Hopefully if you are under the warranty they will fix it for free. still just try the 30 second thing. might do the trick!
