Mod AFS headlights?

I'm sure it's been done but I'm wondering if anyone has opened these headlights optioned with AFS and painted them? I'm not too worried about the motor in their getting too hot from the bake but I just want to confirm. Thanks.

Rant. I've been trying to trade my lights with people who are selling theres but nobody has AFS! I'm almost about to say screw it and just get rid of them and go with non AFS. LOL.

Don't trade your lights. They are really expensive and hard to find.

I've seen people modded the afs light. You just gotta find the right person to do that for you.

Yeah, I was just joking about the trade. I love the AFS as it's unique. Just worried about the motor.

It will be fine! Even the regular headlights has the bi xenon motor/actuator and they hold up perfectly fine.

Ross I have AFS and mine were painted, you've seen them. I have had no issues with the AFS in the 4 years since then. I didn't do mine myself, I sent them off. I'd suggest trying Raul G.
