Was planning on switching my stock HIDs to 6000ks and I cant seem to get the HID bulb out of the socket after i twisted the HID connecter off. Did i miss a step? Am i supposed to unscrew something? the damn bulb is just stuck there....

 

there's actually a metal brace that holds the actual bulb in. there's ONE screw that you have to undo prior to pulling it out. difficult to access, but it's doable through the wheel well. does that help?

 

If you look around, there is metal clip that needs to be unhooked in order to pull out the bulb out of the socket. Basically you have to push in the clip and pull it up to release it. Kinda hard to explain, but you should be able to figure it out if you try it.
