type of paint?

I recently had an accident with my 2009 g 37. It was relatively minor, but there will be a new bumper and driver side fender put on. My question is about the clear coat paint. My car has the self healing paint and I wonder if that paint can be purchased by my body guy? He knows nothing about it and my dealer was not able to help..

Can any of you help me??

Thanks

First read this to figure out what clear you have

https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...156-paint.html

Then go back to page 3 and click on the link given in post #33 and forward the info to the body shop if it is scratch shield.

There are a few aftermarket paint suppliers that make a self-healing clearcoat. I used to use Glasurit's version. I believe it was the 923-109, but I'm not positive.
