STOP! Don't drill that front bumper!

STOP! Don't drill that front bumper!
If you are unlucky like me to live in a state that requires front plate, I'm sure you also live with my dilemma: pay the constant tickets (specially here in Chicago) or find a way to place your front plate without ruining the G's nice front bumper???
Here's the alternative I found... After my last $50 ticket (thanks again Chicago), I started really looking into a bracket that would not require drilling...
Playing in my garage looking for scrap metal that could do the trick, I found my old 370Z plastic bracket. You see, when I had that car, I also didn't drill the front bumper, but the dealer did provide me the bracket anyway.
It just so happens that the bracket for the 370Z fits perfectly in the lower front grill of my Anniversary G37xS (which I assume has at least the same dimensions as any other Gs?), and was attached using two zip-ties through the grill.
It's secured in place, and not so ugly as drilling the bumper, IMHO. I'm sure not an issue here during Winter, but it's blocking the radiator intake a little, so I'll keep an eye for the temperature during the hot Chicago summer days.
Thought I would share...

My POS 'show and go' broke on the very first day. (**** quality IMH) Pulley broke off but I still can use it manually. I still prefer it more than my old Stillen mount and a lot easier to hide the plate than having to unscrew the Stillen bracket. I never liked the position of the Stillen mount off to one side because of the tow hook poition.
