Wassup fellas,
I know this has been discussed before and I tried to search but am a little confused. I wanted to change the fog lights cuz they're too yellow so I was wondering if I had to buy an HID conversion kit or I could just buy bulbs fro v-leds and just switch them out. Thanks in advance.

 

You can buy LED bulbs, but I believe most won't fit in the DRL/Fog location.

what i did was i installed HID's in my fogs they are really bright! im pretty sure i bought H1's

 

And yes you need a whole kit

Plus one for LED's I have them on mine and the wifes, .. They look so GOOD.. I'm sure Diode has them but I got mine from 180 customs. Sorry Paul before you guys where a vendor here.

 

lots of people with 08-10 have run hid kits for the fogs

 

does anybody have a non-HID yellow type bulb?? sorry for hijacking

 

i used to run Nokya yellow bulbs before going HID. liked them a lot

Thanks a lot guys. I ordered the kit from v-leds but was wondering how hard the install is. And is there a possibility of moisture in the heads afterwards or not?

 

Not sure but if is not done right there is a possibility you can some moisture on your headlights. I believe there is some drilling required (not sure) I don't have hid's on my fogs, just a thought. Maybe someone with experience can give you more feedback.
Ps. Shouldn't be hard to install if you're car savvy.

I was talking about for 09 coupes where the fogs are part of the headlight. I got my kit yesterday but dnt want the housing to get burned or anything so please adivse me on how to do this install.
