I've read elsewhere that later models have an actual fog light switch. Mine does not have this.

I was also thinking of switching the light circled in purple to a whiter color. What bulb number is it, a 2825? Thanks!

yours have it! in fact all of them do regardless of which model.

there is a fog light switch that you can turn on as if you're turning on the headlights. you just need to look again!

OMFG! It's right next to the regular switches! I swear I've turned it before but never noticed a difference so I thought it was nothing... Thanks Wieboy!

neaor, the kit looks good! I'm looking for something similar as well, but want to do the install myself. It sounds easy on their website, but I want to hear it from someone who have installed something like this already.

30-50 minute complete install using standard hand tools per side.
No More Mounting Clips <---- What does this mean? Does it use double side tape?

Technically it is illegal. I think it's a US DOT regulation that each car must have front and rear reflectors. But is it something cops will pull you over for? Probably not.

To remove them, you'll need to bake open the lights and melt off (yes, melt with a lighter) the plastic tabs behind it. It's not very hard to do. But if you've never done it before, it could seem a little scary.

The hard part is you'll need to make a clear version of those :/

Thanks. Yeah figuring out what to replace the reflector with will be a challenge. Its little different than the other stuff that's out there. But what's doable will drive my decision.

The best way is to make a mold of the orange reflector so it has all the tiny pyramids. Then make a piece by pouring clear resin into the mold (coat the mold with mold release first so resin won't stick to it). This way you'll create a replica of the orange reflector, except in clear. But I think it's more work than it's worth so I never did it. There is a lot of stuff online you can find on how to make clear plastic pieces and simple molds.

Good luck.

Forgive the dead thread resurrection, but I thought it was better to post here instead of starting a new one.

Does anyone know what size (in millimeters) CCFL rings are needed to DIY angel eyes? I'm looking to do a headlight project this winter and I'm trying to order the parts to take advantage of some black friday pricing. Thanks!

Coupe lenses are 2.5" outside diameter so using that as a guide you'd want the Inside diameter to be just a hair wider than 2.5", so a bit more than 63.5mm

Yeah, after some hasty measurements and calculations, I ordered a pair of 70mm CCFL rings. The shroud should be bigger than the lens (duh), and I think it'll fit nicely. The next largest size is 80mm, which is obviously too big.
