I don't know why people muck with the stock bulbs they look fine, bright and white (enough). Sometimes it's best to just leave well enough alone.

4300 is not any brighter than 5000 or 6000. 6000k is more of a natural light than 4300 which is more of a yellow-ish white a tinge cooler than a halogen bulb. A clear day is about 5500 to 6500k and that's what our brain interprets as natural light.

Here's an easier to understand color temperature chart:

I personally dont like the stock bulbs. They are too yellow for my taste. I think the 6k with the small hint of blue is perfect. Im running 10k, but they look like 6k, not sure why. But I had to use my stocks bulbs for a bit and it was crazy how much more light I had, but yellow tint to it. Maybe my bulbs just suck

Headlights are not LED....(Not yet anyway)

LED stands for: Light emitting diode

They are HID: High intensity discharge. (or arc lighting).

I had the similar problem with stock ballast, and aftermarket hid bulbs. One of the light bulb will stay on. I had to turn on, then off real fast, for multiple times before it will stay on. Not sure why. I tried 3 different brands, all had similar issues. But once they come and stay on for the 1st time, then it will work after that. It's like breaking in the bulb or something
