projector high beam plug

I have g37 projectors retrofitted into my rsx headlights. Previous owner told me all i had to do was to hook this plug up for the high beam function. What I'm trying to find out is what kind of plug it is, if i can get it somewhere, where, and if not would it be possible to find it with pigtails somewhere on here??

thanks

are you sure that's from a G37? i've never seen a plug like that inside the headlights projector. you can use 12volt to test it out and see if you hear a click or not.

those are g35 sedan projectors. that's why i've never seen it.

anyway, try tapping a 12v on the wire, you should hear a clunk which is opening the lid for the high beam. if that works, cut open your car's high beam wire and connect it to those wires. simple!

oh okay. either way, hell of lot better than HIDs in my old reflector bowls

I was just wondering if I would be able to find the female end of that plug with a pigtail so I could solder a H1 plug onto it to make everything a clean install.

that would be tough unless you can find the actual headlights those projectors came off from and cut them off there. don't think anybody on this forum would be able to help you on that one. another option is you can buy matching plugs from Fry's or Radio Shack and solder them. samething imo!
