New problem with my paint

So last night when I got home I noticed that the dealer emblem(Ray Catena puts their own emblem on all their cars they sell) fell off my car at some point on the turnpike. I get home and see it is missing. I notice a spot that looks like it is missing paint or is a discoloration that was underneath the emblem. So I decided to clean off the area using goo gone. All the glue from the double sided tape came off easily, but I am still left with this wonderful thing:

I know I am already calling the dealership about this. Should I call Infiniti USA on top of that? I want one of them to pay for their mess up, especially since this wont be the first time I am complaining about paint.

It looks like it's still some left over residue from the emblem. Have you tried using a clay bar? Or a good polishing? From seeing your pics it looks like you need one

When I debadged the G37 and Infiniti from my trunk it left a bit of that residue. I couldn't get it all off with the goo gone so I took a clay bar and smoothed it out. Then polished out any scratches/swirls caused by removing the emblems.

I make it a point whenever buying or leasing a new car, to insist that there be no dealer stickers or emblems on the car whatsoever, else I will not take delivery. I have it put in writing on the sales contract, and initialed by the sales manager before even making a down payment.

Buy some liquid car wax, like Rain Dance or an equivalent and polish it out. I keep a can of Rain Dance Liquid Car Wax handy to rub out small surface abrasions. It works like a fine polishing compound without being too aggressive on the paint. Rubbing compound would work, as well, but is too abrasive for me.

+1 G37CPA

I made sure that they wouldn't put any dealership logos on the back when I bought my G.

Same here. I absolutely do not take delivery of a new car with any dealer emblems or stickers.
