Note how cleanly the tape came off in the fourth pic? Peel from the paint side of the tape as shown and you should have no problem. Good luck!

^I'll keep that in mind when I re-plasti dip mines. When I plasti dipped mine a few weeks ago, the edges didn't come out perfect despite peeling the tape off a minute after spraying. So I just retaped the jagged edges and quickly sprayed a few coats. Peeled the tape off immediately (total respray and peeling off = 20 seconds) -> came out perfect

Here's some pics finally.. I basically did the same as the pics above.. taped off the top and bottom... then I had a little fun with the "S" on the trunk..

Nice! Looks great.

Oh, I forgot to mention, there's no good way to Plasti-dip the emblem leaving the actual Infiniti logo alone. It's going to peel weird if you do it like I did because of the lip on the side.

no doubt.. i think I must have redone the emblem at least 3 times.. it just didn't come out quite right.. i had done a reverse paint scheme on it, the black parts on the interior I painted blue and left the emblem itself chrome. But it didn't dry right, had some bubbles in it. I loved the look, but not the end result.
