M shift ****

I bought an M shift **** off ebay and noticed that the prongs or clips on the bottom have been cut or broken off. Is that part needed?

The prongs are what hold your shift boot up.
Get a refund, now.

Oh, BTW, I have a NEW perforated version for sale in the classifieds!!!
I bought both the Stitched, and perfed, but decided to keep the stitched.

Did you buy it from k3nnystill3n on eBay, where the bastard took a picture of it, to purposely hide the fact that the prongs are missing??
