HID fogs install question

Bought the DDM tuning HID h1 kit for my 08 coupe.

My question is with the ground wire. It seems to be soldered into the light socket. I pulled the rubber casing back but could not remove it.

Does it come off? do you just cut it and attach to HID kit? You guys just grounding the HID kit somewhere else?

Mine are plug and play as well. Maybe your 2010 is different. I have two wires to connect. One wire plugs into the wire that connected directly to the OEM light bulb and the other wire is a ground wire.

the ground wire on the car seems to be soldered into the light assembly unless I am not pulling on it hard enough.
