It's a nice touch, but a bit pricey. I have it and like it. Gives a more upscale look.
It matches the light that shines down onto the center console.

I actually liked the ambient lights that were in my mustang. All 4 footwells and the cup holders lit up. Plus you were able to change between 7 different colors.

If you absolutely, positively must have a dim view of your feet at night when you're driving, then yes. If not, then no.

It's one of those things you'll point out to friends if you get it, and they'll shrug and ask why you need light down there.

My wife got me the kit for my birthday. I installed it about 1 month ago. I like it, but like others have said, the price is a bit much.

My 12 year old son sat in the front seat the other day, saw his feet, and said "Whoa, there are lights down there?"

i wouldnt say it is worth the price but if u have money to spend and like a lil touch to the interior, i would say go for it. i like it expecially when the women sitting next to me is wearing a skirt and you can check out her legs

You might want to consider upgrading all your interior lights to leds because while you're feet are lit up still it definitely brightens things up and totally changes the feel of the lighting inside the car. Really easy and cheap to do too!

it adds a classy touch, but nothing special. I saw it on my friends car, they have the lights pointed deep inside the wheel well.

Personally I would make it a DIY project and have fun with it. It will be much cheaper and good experience. You cant really mess it up, and if you do, no one can see it

I think it makes the interior look much more classy and clean. I get good comments on it all the time.
