I'm surprised no one has mentioned anything about a gap these past 72 pages...thanks hywel!

Would it be easier to do while the bumper is off the car?

So I'm sure nobody has said anything because most people ignore it...like I said, when I saw what it covered up, I just installed the parts. I did it when the bumper was on, I thought it was actually easier that way, since my reference point was the bumper, not the side of the flimsy wheel cover thing. The instructions say do it before the bumper is installed. Below is a picture.

There is a whole official PDF from Infiniti to do the install available at:

http://www.infiniti-techinfo.com/TSB...modelyear=2010

You need to register on the site first, but the link will get you to the instructions (for 2010, but it worked for my 2008). I tried to attach the instructions here, but they were a couple hundred K too big.

I didn't mentioned bc I knew the ipl bumper was wider n thought the small gap was normal. I have no idea, those two plastic parts was to eliminate that gap. So I will like to how to know if I can be install with the bumper on n maybe a picture on how it looks once installed.

See above for pic to compare to your car. Like I said, it's not a huge gap, but my OCD got the better of me.
