daytime running lights on new g37

hey read quite a few of the posts here but they all seem a bit old. importing my new 2010 g37 convertible to canada and need the daytime running lights fix. should I just try the old sensor covering and auto setting to get it through the inspection? or have the dealer install a module? what is the best module to use? they don't seem to have a lot of experience in doing this. anyone have any suggestions? who makes the best modules?

I'd cover the sensor. But that's just me.

Oh, welcome to the forum!

You can try one of these DRLs:

High Power LED Daytime Running Lights, LED Strip Lights, LED Fog Lights
Super Bright LEDs – Daytime Running Lamps

I'd install the Infiniti OEM kit. You'll be better off since you have to have them. Don't look for loopholes, just go for the original kit.

I had mine done on my 09 vert at the Kelowna dealership $180. They said they have done many and it wasn't a problem and is covered under warranty.

I'm looking to install the LED (Audi style) DRL to comply with canadian DRL law and want to use a Hamsar DRL module. Is the infiniti lights a ground activated system?

What are the wire color codes for the Power 12v, Ignition on 12V, and also clearance lights?
Anybody suggest a GOOD source fro the Repair/service manual for a 2010 G37x?
