Window tintintg, is this normal?
That looks like CRAP! Take it back...why the hell did those 2 guys say that's 100% acceptable/normal....are you kidding. That gap is huge and looks retarded.

And they trinted around my 3rd brake light... //facepalm// .... With my interior being beige, this sticks out like a sore thumb. Would I be justified in bringing this back and asking them to redo the tinting??
^ that is actually semi-normal, the gaps on your windows are not. I've seen people tint around the 3rd brake light, but when they do that, it looks like crap! Take it back and have them redo the gaps and the back...raise hell if they try to charge you.
I am sorry you had to lose your tint virginity like this...

Totally unacceptable. Poorly done. Mine has 0 gap and while I don't have a third brake light and the rear deck due to spoiler, they should have tinted yours.
Take it back and demand it be done right or money back.

Absolutely unacceptable. The cut is clean, so it makes me think they bought a "kit" for the G37 that just never fits right. My guy files down the tint so you literally can't see where the tint stops. Its pretty impressive. Even if they don't file, there should not be a gap like that. My feeling is that you got a VERY inexperienced tinter.
No gap on mine. I wouldn't be ok with the job, if I were you OP.

There's nothing wrong with that job. It is completely acceptable and is not poorly done. The problems you have with it should have been discussed beforehand. If you wanted no cut out around the light, you should have said so. If you wanted no edge, you should have said so. I understand it's your first tint experience, but you've obviously been on car forums before and should have done some research instead of posting up after the fact.
Edit: after looking really close, if anything, you should have a problem with how wavy that edge is. Tint should be cut using the edge if the glass or computer cut on a plotter. It shouldn't be done freehand on the glass which is what looks like was done.
