I'm guessing these aren't going to be in huge demand. By the time they warm up, you're going to be turning them off (going forward). They are going to have a short lifespan with that kind of use. Too much cost and effort for minimal returns, IMO.
If you're willing to sit there in reverse while your lights warm up, then it's more about having HIDs than having a practical setup.
What size bulbs Led Interior, Park, trunk and Tag Lights. thx
Still in the works hit a few snags. The bulb is a modified version of a 880 bulb.
all the bulbs your referring to are t10 but in this case you cant use the stock housing connector. The HID bulb will create the airtight seal.
I am in the process of doing this.. Modded 9006 5k bulbs to fit, bought slim ballasts and a direct wire kit. Should be done tomorrow. (35 watts) should be sweet
O haha thats my thread on Driver, I switched to 35 watts because I ran them for 15 minutes in the housings with no damage so thats what Im going with.
i ran the 35 watt at 80 degress for 10min, 30min , and finally 3 hours. There was some discoloration in the lens. I would be very careful if i were you.
my tuning body shop did it, but it wasn't hard, they just used some kind of the metallic web to make custom housing and wired the xenon blocks directly to the battery (using the cord, that I already had for the aftermarket audio amplifier)
