Confused!

Does anyone know what fog light bulbs go in a 2010 G37 convertible. I had ordered a HID H1 kit through DDM and my infiniti dealer said it was the wrong size bulb cause it didn't fit through the small opening and they would of had to drill it out significantly to make it fit?

This model has the fog lights in the same housing as the headlights and parking lights.

I'd prefer HID but if there is a good bright white or slight bluish tinted LED I'd take that as well.

Please help. I've already replaced the parking lights and Headlights and want to get rid of the nasty yellowish fog lights.

Thanks in advance!

haha yeah Infiniti changed up the lights for the 2010 fogs. 08-09 uses H1 for fogs and 2010 uses H4 I believe. In the future make sure to check the manual for what lights, if any, you're gonna get and you'll be good to go!

H1 is just a tiny @$$ bulb that emits very little light. the H4 is an actual halogen size bulb which in turn can be a lot better.

Are we sure it's an H4..want to make sure before ordering a replacement bulb or HID kit w/ballister.

The funny or not so funny thing is the owners manual for the '10 convertible actually says it's an H1 bulb but Infiniti dealership said it wasn't but the mechanic wasn't even sure which size it was.

Can anyone let me know for certain?

Thank you all for your help/input!

if the manual says it's a H1, then it's a H1 and the dealer is wrong. why are you asking them anyways? Are you having them install it?!

I thought ALL the 2010's used H4, I guess it's just sedans. But just go by what the manual says, that has the right answer every time
