Hey sorry if im posting in the wrong forum, but i searched up and down and can't find any info on how to install or a diy on the illuminted kick plates, i was wondering if anybody knows if u take the stock kickplates off, is there a wire harness there ready for the illumintated ones, do you have to run wires through the floor?

They should have come with installation directions.

If you didn't get the wiring harness with the illuminated kickplates, you've got a problem. They were installed on the Nissan Sport Project G37xS and the wiring harness plugs into the ECM itself. There's no wiring harness there on cars that didn't come with the option. You tuck the harness under the carpet.

 

Took mine to the dealer...they only took an hour to install so it didn't cost much at all.

 

An hour at the dealer is like 120-130 labor lol plus tax... But thanx that will be my last option

 

So did you get the wiring harness with the kick plates or not?

 

slim: did you buy the kickplates separately at a discount parts distributor or from a dealer supply counter? I want to this too. and I want to add the special Interior lighting package.... There was a thread [too lazy to go looking for it right now] from a guy in Philly who got the illuminated kickplates, LED DRLs, and something else installed at a good price (purchaed and installed) at a Infiniti dealer in south NJ..Let me know on the kickplates.

 

i got the kickplates one ebay brand new oem....it was an awsome price and i caught it at the end with no bids so i jumped on it, i love the look but i wouldnt pay dealer price for them...

 

il let you know when i get them, should come in by the end of the week...
