Smile Third Brake Light Mod

Heres a little mod i did to my third brake light on my spoiler, its a flasher that makes the brake light flash in a variety of modes from strobe to a slow flash, and you can also choose how many times it will flash. I use it to get inattentive drivers to pay attention to me when i brake so hopefully i don't get rear-ended. Plus i think it looks cool! ;p I've gotten a lot of compliments on it already but i also wanna know what you guys think. My video quality is ****, i'll try and make a new vid using my hd vid camera soon and ill do a video in direct sunlight, dusk, and nighttime so you all can see. I bought the flasher module from here: Universal Brake Light Flasher/Strober - 36 modes Universal Brake Light Flasher/Strober - 36 modes [unvbrkflsh36] - $19.95 : 3rdBrakeFlasher, E-commerce web site

Hmmm, cant embed so here is the link to the video:

actually i've seen cars with 3rd brake light like that from factory. but they don't flash as fast though. i think it was an option, my cousin's xb had it and it was listed as an option on the sticker.

to the OP. looks good, just a lil too fast.

The concept of flashing or strobing brake lights is gaining acceptance by NHTSA. Some cars already feature them as standard equipment under various rule exceptions, though the strobing is generally only activated during hard stopping and not normal braking.
