need feedback about a modification on the rear lights

Hi everyone,I'm new in this site & I've registered cause there is a modification on the rear lights that I've thought about "not sure if it's a new idea", the thing is my car is a white G37 & I saw a lot of G owners who they have it in black, they'd put a black cover on the rear lights. Some of them removed the cover from the LED circles. So my question is do you think that this would work if I've done the same but with a white cover & left the LED circles uncovered ???

Waiting for your opinions

It's already been done by one member here. Not my cup of tea though. I believe the username is 1hottG or something like that

The 'cover' you are talking about is just vinyl and actually a lot of people paint them instead of doing vinyl.

But in answer to your question, yes you could conceivably tint them white; although IMHO it would look horrible

Thanks guys you've been really helpful. I searched for 1hottG & saw the pics , it didn't look good. The vinyl overlay looks much better on the car.
