Debadge Ghosting?

Is this the infamous ghosting everyone is talking about?

When I rub my finger against it, I can fell a difference in height. This can't be good.

Yeah if you can feel a difference just pull out the orbital buffer and use some good compound/polish and smooth it out.

This is really weird cause I just debadged my G after over a year and there is no ghosting whatsoever

Use an expired credit card and carefully scrub if off (the glue, not the paint lol)

Just get out your random orbital and compound/polish the area (after washing/coating obv) it should even out fine. If not then start looking at what is causing it

Agree with highspeed. I used goo be gone to get the glue off. Then compounded and waxed the area smooth. I had a faint ghost, but after leaving out in the sun it went away and you can't even tell anything was there.

Get all the glue off and give it a nice polish.

i don't think that's ghosting. If you feel the difference in height that means the trunk was resprayed and recleared with the badges still on the trunk. My old car had the fenders resprayed with an emblem unremoved and when i took it off it looked just like that and you could feel it when you rubbed your finger. I don't think any amount of buffing will help either. You'd probably have to repaint the trunk

The "INFINITI" lettering doesn't have this issue...
