So I got a set of D2S bulbs in 8000 kelvin from DDM Tuning... And took off the wheels to install them, and then they look only slightly whiter. Not even a HINT of blue. What's going on?

And trust me, I know what 8000K looks like.

that doesnt sound right as 8000k is very blue. maybe do a side by side comparison to truely see the difference in the color.

Different companies will have slightly different colors to them but I know for a fact the DDM 8000K bulbs have blue in them. They might have sent you 6000K accidentally if they are pure white

Just give them a call

Thing is, I bought some 12000K lights just for screwing around, since they were so cheap.... Their light appears exactly the same, yet the insulation on the grounding wire of the bulbs is a different color.

Why would they make that kind of mistake twice?

+1 for the different company/different color thing.

I bought VLEDs D2S's in 6000K and was disappointed in the too blue look. Good thing one was flickering because I returned them for the 5000Ks.

Just shot DDM Tuning an email with concerns about my order's innaccurate description. I asked them kindly to work it out with me so I get what I ordered.

Thanks, I'll look into those if DDM starts acting like a little b*tch about this issue.

I dont like DDM either. Some people love them but I don't. I got shipped wrong items from them and they dont do well on color matching.
