Why does the left license plate bulb keep dimming?

So I replaced all my lights with LEDs (except the glove box biotch), and all have worked well EXCEPT the left side license plate bulb.

The first time it dimmed, I thought it was a bad bulb, so I replaced it. This time, it dimmed again in a very short period of time, so now it's a pattern.

Have any of you experienced this problem? Could it be from washing the car and spraying that area? Or maybe I should just leave the regular light in there, even though it's yellowish? Please advise.

I doubt it's from washing...otherwise everyone would experience it.

Maybe the wiring has a bad connection, that would explain why it isn't always like that. It might be a loose connection

Or the bulb might not be in the correct way/enough. try to check those two and if it's still happening then I

Your ground wire connection is loose or corroded to that light. Bad grounds produce dim or inop lights. GL

ill check the connection tomorrow. as far as the wash, i use the coin self-wash spray, which is super powerful, and shoot into the license plate area. but now that i think about it, if the water got to it, it probably would go out and not dim.
