Painting Calipers ($?)
Here's my spray-painted one. I would advise against decals if you plan on tracking your car -- the heat will be enough to turn them brown.

Did this to my Z years ago. I learned right away not to use the high heat spray paint. It started coming off in a few months. The heat and rock chips tore the paint up. Then I used G2 Caliper Paint kit and it lasted forever.
The ones from Autozone... I think Duplicolor high heat auto paint... it was years ago. The G2 is like an epoxy more then a paint...
For daily driving, it's not an issue, however.
Hey just to confirm, mike did you use this kit?

Also I have an 08 Journey and my brakes don't look anything like the ones posted. Should I still go ahead with the paint job? I feel that they won't come out as sporty looking...

Engine Enamel & High Heat
The standard brakes aren't smooth, it'll be harder to achieve the same look if you decide to paint it. The G2 Caliper paint might be a better bet since it's thicker and cures to a smoother finish.
