Anyone bought replacement A pillars for the G? Reason I ask is I am planing a stereo install and will probably put tweeters in there. Want a spare set to cut on . Will be my 1st A pillar install so I want to take my time and do it right and don't want to ride around with naked pillars.

Havent done anything to mine yet, but ive taken them off. They just pop right off if thats what youre asking.

 

I believe they're like $80 a piece. I know on my benz, replacement pillars were $109 AND they were wrapped in alcantara suede.

 

Wow $80. Well I guess I will be riding with naked pillars for a while. Thanks for the feedback.

 

Anyone know if you can get them without the biege cloth wrapping? Or if you remove the cloth is it black underneath? (I want black A-Pillars)

 

Stoof, do you remember how many clips and where they are located. how about the B pillars? Thinking of brining it into a upholstery shop but they specialize with furnitures, not cars.

Actually, I've thought about dyeing the cloth to be black. But I'm a Chicken S**T.

 

Wrap them in black cloth. I have not tried yet, but should not be too difficult. When I put the tweets in that is probably what I will do, with grill cloth though.
