Ahh heck I don't want to know about issues like this...now I know its going to be a part of my life in the near future... anyways if one dealer says common problem you can always try a different one.

I see the seat bubble posts from other threads and google but isnt this normal wear and tear? I have owned other vehicles that also exhibit this and I have not had concern over it thinking that it is normal slackening of the leather over time.

That said my driver side seat does have this bubble effect compared to the rear and passenger seats.

For the last few months, I subconsciously looked away at what I kept telling myself was just a trick of light and shadow. I've read about this "bubble" a few times, and didn't want to acknowledge that it was happening to my car. But this afternoon I accepted what I was looking at, and there's no more denial.

I've got the Bubble. 2011 Sedan with Sport Seats and still less than 12K miles.

Mr friends, I am not happy. Not happy at all.

I've come to terms with this car. I have accepted it's flaws...seat bubble, creaking center console, rattles, stupid 7AT (i know, don't tell me to get a 6MT). I'm way beyond the honeymoon period and now, I just don't care anymore.

My passenger seat has the bubble on the left side of the passenger sport seat. Only sat in by my fiance when I'm driving around on the weekends (she's 105lbs and can't even get the air bag sensor to go off). Noticed it at 6k miles on my 2012.

Strangely drivers side is fine, aside from the leather creases on the side bolster from getting in and out.

From the sounds of it it'll just come back if the dealer fixes it so I'm not going to worry about it.

I'll be seeing the dealership next month when the summer tires go back on, and will bring it up then. I really have zero expectation one way or the other, and quite a lot of fatalism that even if it's replaced, it's a temporary fix.

Sigh.

Seat bubble issue here as well and having it replaced under warranty but not because of that though.

I brought up a legitimate concern of mine to the Infiniti SA about my seat being uncomfortable to sit in for a prolong period of time where I had to shift myself around constantly.

SA then got back to me once they checked that out and approved me for replacement so now I am waiting for the seat to arrive at the Infiniti service department to get the replacement.

how did you get them to approve that? i have the same issue where I can't get comfortable in my seat. i constantly find myself shifting around, especially when i'm sitting in traffic, trying to get comfortable. I've tried adjusting the seat in various positions, but can't seem to get it right.
