Were the Illuminated door sills an option or is that an after market mod?

Where do you get them? How hard to install?

they're an option. you can buy them from the dealership if you didn't get them originally (I believe) and I got them from the start so not sure about the install

 

I did the install, not that hard if you are handy. Hardest parts were the wiring diagram instructions take a bit to sort out. The instructions are hand drawn and not pics. Also, making and using extensions to remove the backing for the double sided tape took a bit to figure out. But it all worked out and they look great IMHO
