With that OEM gradual-tinted top portion, you may already have 70% on the front windshield.
It almost sounds like you're suggesting I should go with 50% instead! Haha...I'm just kidding. Thanks for the info! Good to know if I ever decide to put some on.
I've always wanted to tint my front windshield but I can never decide if I want 70% or 50%. Would be nice if I can see in person for comparison. I might end up just going with 70% to be on the safe side
We’re back to this topic again. Windshield tint beyond OEM is illegal everywhere mainly because it is unsafe for night driving.
Perhaps someone can explain to me why we disallow posts on hacking nav systems due to the dangers and liability involved, but we routinely allow discussions on something that can be even more hazardous like windshield tints.
I'm with you on this one. Windshield tint is probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen done to a car and it's incredibly dangerous at night. One of the guys got it done in our G club and even in the day, it looked bad. At night, it was retarded.
And the nav hack is something I was hoping to find here....as a lawyer, I even see no liability issues with it. Standard disclaimers generally shield corporations (websites) from people's stupidity. Then again, watching DVD's while driving is illegal in most (if not all) states anyway. So breaking the law is up to the driver, not Myg37.com. Just a lawyer's $.02
well for my first post ever on this site, here is a picture of my car. i have 18% tint on the windshield and 5% on everything else. seeing at night is not an issue out of the front, however when parking seeing out the sides is slightly difficult, just requires concentration.
Well, in most state, tint on the windshield is prohibited, to be sure about the tint law limit in your area, check the current tint law in each state at http://www.TintBuyer.com. The could also give quotations and help you locate the best professional tinter near your area.

Seeing at night with 18% on the windshield is not an issue? I really thought this post was a photoshop gag of some sort to mock my own posts. That’s OK, I like a good joke.
Chekov, i'm not mocking you at all. that was the first thing i did when i bought my car was tint the front windshield. ill get you some better pictures that aren't taken with an iphone.

Please, don’t bother with more pictures. Frankly, I’m disappointed that you were not mocking me, for it now means you really tinted your windshield that much. I’m now concerned for your safety and that you won’t live long enough to realize your mistake.
