G37 Coupe Windows Leaking

I took my G37 coupe to the car wash and water came in from both windows. I also noticed water coming through the tweeter that is located near the window. Any suggestions?

If you do a search, I remember one other post like this. I don't remember if it was a coupe or sedan though.

Make sure your windows fully travel to the top stop. Reset them if necessary.

+1 try reseting the windows, make sure the cowling around the doors is clean, then take it to the dealer if it is still leaking

Shame on you for putting your poor car through that.

Hope you don't have black!

If you do a window reset (read your manual) and that doesn't fix it, mention it at your next oil change. My dealership had to fix that issue twice on my car, both sides, and it took them about 5 minutes. They just have to reset the stop point so the window travels up further and seals into the cowling better.

Windows

They just fixed this exact issue on my G. They "retimed" the windows. They weren't going all the way up when the door was closed.

I am having the same issue here with my windows, but I noticed that the tweeter isnt playing on my car. Could it be possible that the water has ruined the tweeter by it getting wet? Has anyone else experienced this?

There is a TSB out for that. All they have to do is replace the window moulding. Take it to the dealer.

In your case, the water has probably damaged the tweeter as well.
