why would you want tint over tint? that would look horrible...i did 50% but it ended up being ALOT lighter then i thought. so i went with a 35 a month later. big difference...and its a dark 35..im happy.

if the good auto body shop removes tints the correct way on your car to put different tints on will they mess up the rear defrost windows if they do it correctly? wondering how many of you on here have had tints removed before?

Infiniti7,
You’ve already asked this same basic question SIX times in this thread alone that you started almost a month ago, and have asked similar tint questions in other threads, two of which had to be closed.

If you don’t have an answer by now you’re probably not going to get one, and the moderators will have to close this one too. Please, please -- just give it up and move on.

If you're afraid of the defrost on the rear...either A. Get just the sides darker which will make the rear a little darker b/c the interior will be darker or B. Get them to just place new tint over the old. You never have to worry about it being too thick b/c the rear doesn't matter. Only thing you may have to worry about is the double tint affecting the radio antenna that's on your rear windshield.

wondering how many people in here have gotten their cars re-tinted and had to take off old film to put new film on. If the shop is a quality shop and removes the tint correctly they shouldn't have a problem messing up the defrosters correct? wondering who has gotten their cars re-tinted and wondering if they messed up the defrosters at all? thanks

I'm convinced he wants a response from every member on the forum about their opinion on that matter. But hey that would be crazy?! Right?! LOL.
