Where did you get your tinting done?

I'll find out what shop he works out of. My brother has a friend at a glass shop that did it on the side. I can say that I've seen work done by Global Auto Glass on Pleasant St in Dartmouth that does really fantastic work. They'll even do occasional cash deals

 

Any chance of posting a pic to see how it looks? Does it look "funny" without the sides being done?

No because most people do not tint the front sides..
It definitely looks better with tinted front sides.
I had to take off because of a fix-it ticket..
Mine was 15% all around except the windshield.
It looked very nice..

 

i went from a 50% on all five windows(which barley did a dam thing) to 35% in the same month...now im happy!

 

Tint is a big deal in FL, bc a cop was shot on a routine stop and couldnt see the driver or gun through the tint. I just got my 09 G Coupe tinted, 15% all around. I think FL is 30% legal, I might be wrong. I had the same on my 08 G coupe and had no problems for 2 years. My 06 Charger had 15% tint and I did get pulled over for speeding, and the **** gave me a speeding and tint ticket. I think 15% is necessary.. Just me though.

 

With a 28% requirement for the sides in Florida as shown below, and that cop shooting incident you mentioned, you might be looking at a gun in the face yourself the next time you get pulled over.

I had 28%, then got it redone to 5% all around. Got too many tickets so i went with the fishbowl look and i don't regret it not one bit. The G looks so much cleaner without tints when its dropped on rims.

is 15 percent all the way around dark on a car? how do u guys feel vs 5 percent limo all the way around vs 15 all the way around?

just purchased my g37s yesterday and it came with 15% tints. Low and behold i was pulled over today. Thankfully the officer saw the line of work that i am in from a sticker on my front windshield and gave me the automatic have a nice day you did nothing wrong ( i reside in nyc btw)

 

What kind of work do you do? The only thing I can think of is that you’re a stunt driver doing a movie where your car gets wrapped around a pole because you couldn’t see a thing.

 

I live in Va and the law states 50% front two and 35% rear three. I had planned to get 50% on the side and 35% on the rear. Will this really be enough? I really don't need trouble with inspections and cops.
