Is there a part I can buy to replace the third brake light? The third brake light is covered by the carpet thingy.

Ideally I'd like to get rid of the light all together...but it it's too expensive does anyone have any knowledge of just disconnecting it? That would be my second option. Thanks.

thanks, but hmmm..thats a bit much + install. the recent car purchase + lakers tickets pretty much wiped me out! Maybe in a couple of months. Do you know how to turn off the 3rd brake light?

 

Yes, I did these both.
I bought OEM spoiler and rear parcel shelf and installed them myself.
The shelf is kind of hard to remove and install. But I did it OK at the end.
Now I am thinking about get rid of my trunk with spoiler intact and replace with CF trunk with spoiler build-in.
There is a connection under the shelf in the trunk that you can disconnect the light.
