Hi,
Has anyone purchased g37 3M clear bra from e-bay and installed in yourself?
What is your feedback about quality and difficulty of installation?
Thanks

Don't buy the 3M clear bras. I had it on the g35 coupe and it started turning light yellowish shade after about a year (and yes the bumper was cleaned properly of any mineral build up on the bumper). I bought the ventureshield but didn't put it on the 37 yet cuz I have some rock chips that I have to take care of before I put it on. Go with ventureshield, all heard were good things about it. Also, the warranty and material is better than 3Ms.
ps. Don't buy anything for your car on ebay. Cheap for a reason.

As posted elsewhere, the "old" 3M would yellow over time. But the "new" 3M does not. I have 3M on GTI for 2 1/2 years and no yellowing. Have Ventureshield on G for year+. Real difference is in the installer. However, you never know what you will get on eBay buying film.

I highly recommend not buying film from Ebay. Most of the garbage they are selling there is not even paint protection film (polyurethane). They sale a lot of clear vinyl which will not really protect your paint. I have had a lot of clients waste good money on that garbage. Get it done right the first time from a quality installer and you will be happy with your results.

what about the llumar clear bra?

My personal experience wiht Llumar is that it does not last very long... as in the finish does not hold up. I have installed a few of their kits but it wasnt long before they were back due to the film looking dull. So I try and stay away from it now unless the customer is set on using that film.
