Valentine 1 Owners

For those of you with a V1, do any of you have the mirror mount, and if so where did you get it from. I was originally go to get it off of ebay, but then i was told they are mirror specific. Not sure if its true, but if you have it if you could chime in. thanks guys

yes, it uses the original mount that clips to the suction cups. unplug the wire and pull forward.

Just ordered a stealth cord since the remote display I took out of my previous dd won't work in the g.

Questions.

1. While I'm waiting for the stealth cord, i want to use the 12v accessory power. WTF the v1 plug won't fit in the ash tray area.

2. Are there any new and improved options for mounting the unit to the mirror. All of the ones ive seen look chunky. Looking for low profile. And I want to be able to quickly remove the unit for use in another vehicle, which i have a permanent mount in.

Blendmount looks promising.

I don't settle for the cheapest options. I like quality, first time out of the gate, but $80 for the mount?

Thx all. Cheers.
