trunk
trunk
has anyone noticed on the g coupes that even when the trunk is closed, if you push on it, there is some room for play.... meaning that it compresses a little further even though the trunk is locked....
i'm sorry if this seems like a stupid observation....
is there a reason that it was designed like that?

So when you close it, its not a direct slam n stop. It does that because of the rubber stoppers that act like shocks. Most panels will do that. Otherwise if its a direct clasp with no bounce back then your basically knocking panels together.
