Install overlays/Clear corners

Hey forum members, im wondering how much you guys paid to get your overlays installed....im getting quoted close to $200 and that seems way high, how much should I be paying?

also not sure if many people have actually paid for this, but if anyone has any idea around how much I should pay for someone to peel the amber off my headlight, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance ya'll.

What kind of overlays? 200 is kind of high.

A friend of mine up in SJ gave up on overlay installs because he said there's not that many shops that would do it up there.

As for amber removal, the price is different by itself vs if you get something else done at the same time (like painting the housing...etc)

i paid $80 for mine. Installed tails + third brake light.

Next time I would DIY.. now that I saw how it's done

You need to bake the headlights open in order to get to the amber piece... If you have the b@LLs, it's free

Has anyone installed overlays by themselves? My tail light overlays are coming in early next week and I was just planning on trying it myself

You can do it yourself if you have a steamer and squeegee
