Few questions regarding back seats and parking

Hey guys!
So I was wondering, is it normal for the back seats to be "loose"? Because sometimes when I suddenly stop, the back seats fall down and it gets annoying. I drive it to school everyday and there is this part where its downsloping, and when I break sometimes the back seats fall.
And also, have any of you guys had any problems street parking? I guess its probably because I'm a newbie at driving, but I find it quite difficult to street park properly. I just got a g37s two weeks ago and I already scratched the bottom part thats next to the rear right wheel.
Luckily its very small and difficult to see (unless you crouch down).

anyway, thanks in advance for your inputs!

You need to lock the backseats. Push it back until you hear a click.

No, its not normal for the rear seats to be falling down, I would say make sure when you put them up you hear the click noise.

I've tried pushing them back, of course. It doesn't seem to work, I hear no clicking noise.

for rear seats, u have to SLAM them in.. even pushing them in by force wont work..

for street parking if ure not confident, tilt ur side mirrors down and inwards so u can see the side of ur car and the platform, then do ur thing. some people save this mirror position as one of their seat memory for easy setup.

well in reality if you tried slaming them back and they did not lock, you just need to make a trip to the dealer and all will be fixed.

I don't think I broke them since nobody ever sat back there or anything. Maybe they somehow broke when I stopped really hard? or maybe I'm just too weak. hmmm...
oh well, i guess i'll have to get it checked.

I can't believe I didn't think of that! All this high tech is too much to learn at once lol. I'll definetly do that, thanks!

I don't think it was ever normal in the history of automobiles for back seats to just come falling down when braking hard lol

I don't think you're slamming hard enough, perhaps it's time for some back seat car-ma-sutra haha

Sounds like there's a large object in the trunk, like a dead body or something. I've seen that happen before (but only in the movies).

I would inspect the latching mechanism to make sure it isn't broken.
