Anybody having problems with LEDS?

My liscene plate LED went out twice on me. It would start to flicker then die. Also my door LED is flickering like crazy.

Any ideas?

My license plate gave me some issues but ended up being a bad connection. One thing I have noticed is my dome lights, if I leave them so that when the doors open they turn on, when the doors are closed and I am driving they are still very dimly lit. You get that?

Effin Infiniti. Would it have killed them to add LEDs to their lighting?

Another guy down in So Cal had the same flickering problem with the door LEDs, it turned out that the connector prongs that hold the LEDs in place was bend so it wasn't making solid contact with the LED. Check the connector and maybe bend it a little with pliers.

Dome LEDs might stay dimly lit when it's supposed to be off because they have very little load and only require very little current, which is always present in the wiring, to stay on. The original filament bulb was a heavier load and required more current to stay lit. You can try using more LED or something of a bigger load to fix the problem. But it's not really a "problem".

I am having the same problem, in both puddle lights on the doors. I removed them, and now everythings fine. I guess they don't like it when you turn them off and on? The LED's in my vanity mirrors and map lights seem to be fine though.

out of the 5WLED, only 1 or two LED's flicker.

some, like me, don't like the look of leds for interior light. i looks very artificial and harsh. it looks nice on the exterior, but for me, putting leds on the interior would be like replacing all the lights in my house to tube flourescent bulbs.

My trunk light LED doesn't come on some of the time but it's a bad fit anyhow (can't put the plastic cover back over the bulb) - otherwise no problems with the rest of my LEDs.

Crud...I'm having that problem with my license plate lights right now. Only one side of them are flickering though. Bought my lights from Superbrightleds as well.

I tried taking the bulb out and re-seating them but it's still flickering. I think I might try iJDM as well.

Vleds

Superbrightleds suck and will flicker out on you.

Every month I had to replace one... not Vleds.

Vleds for license plate and door lights :http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...85865-1-2.html

Looks better then the superbrightleds lights up brighter too.

All LED's will eventually die out, especially in confined places, they can't stand heat.
