any1 know Factory Stereo SPECS?

anyone know exact specs of the factory stereo ? Such as voltages and how much the speakers can handle? and from what I recall there is a sub in the way back? Can I put a amp to them?

I'm just upset because to listen to my XM I have to have it way up to even be on par with CD - need amps if the speakers are decent, otherwise its boston acoustics

even the dealership doesn't know the specs for the speakers/amps....bose doesn't release that information....

that goes for their home theatre systems too...if u walk into bose and ask them for their specs on their systems, even the employee's don't know what it is...

You cannot do anything with the Bose component speakers if you have them except replace all the speakers and amps. You can add an amp and subwoofer, but you cannot change the amp on the Bose speakers.

There's nothing wrong with your system, that's just how XM is - it isn't as loud as the FM stations, CD, Music Box, etc.

It's all based on the XM station too... if you listen to a song on XM20 (which always sounds like **** to me) and then listen to it on XM21 or XM30 it'll sound different. Every station has their own outbound settings...

Are you referring to the 10 speaker system bose studio or the 6?

Could someone be so kind as to give a mini-review of the G37's stereo in general? Sound quality, handling of bass/treble...etc?

Thanks in advance!

I might do an analysis some time here but I know the results will not be good. Bose just doesn't compete against its rivals in the auto market. I purchased the g for its drive-ability.... Same reason why I bought my first '90 240sx.
