question regarding AFS.

The manual states that it moves your low beams in the direction of steering. Well for me only the right side moves in the direction of steering so should I inform my stealership about this or is only the right side supposed to move. it just seems pretty dumb to have one headlamp move.

I think you have to be going at a certain speed for them to work properly? 25mph?

No you could just park the car and move the steering wheel. How else would you know if they work or not. You cant tell if they are turning as your turning with the car while driving especially at 25mph+. You gotta pay attention that you don't hit something at night not if the headlights move.

edit: maybe both move if your going to go a certain speed like 25mph+....sigh...i smell another trip to the dealership

The left light only moves to the left while you are moving forward faster than a certain speed, I forgot what that speed is. It doesn't swivel as far as the right one so as not to blind oncoming traffic. You can go to an empty parking lot and see it move against a wall while you are turning.

Wrong! The passenger side light moves if you turn the steering wheel while parked with the lights on. The search button is less useful if there are wrong answers to be found like yours so please stick to asking new members if they "got any mod plans"
