I ordered my Phillips 6k from Steve at XD and here is what the label looks like:

Also have been doing business with XD since 2002 and never had any issues. I would say perhaps the warehouse made a mistake and shipped the wrong bulbs. XD does sell extreme HID in 65ook and perhaps they sent that by mistake. I def say call or email him info@xenondepot.com and he'll get it squared away real quick

I called XD and they said I had the 6k despite the packaging. The bulbs are in and they look great. However, would I even be able to tell the difference between 6 and 6.5k anyways?

Airborne.... so many years ago I had Phillips 6k in my RSX and a buddy had the Extreme 6500k...... a side by side camparo showed his to be a bit more purple than mine.... other than that the lumens seemed the same.... my guess is you wouldn't notice much of a difference. However one way to tell is the actual bulb-base (i believe) because if memory serves right the 6000k is Phillips from Germany and the 6500k is a bulb from Japan. It would be printed on the bulb base.

Just wondering why you guys are so sure these are Phillips? Because someone is selling them as such? Anything printed on the bulb or packaging?

Not doubting the vendor, sounds like good reviews all around. Just wondering.
